Increasing storage space in bathroom - tips and tricks

One of the most important aspect of bathroom planning is storage. This is can be problematic in small bathrooms and in case of contemporary and traditional style bathrooms. No matter what style of bathroom you choose, you’re going to need somewhere to store everything - like towels, soap and cleaning equipment. Here are some tips to increase bathroom storage.

First of all - use your wall space. Bathrooms can be especially tricky for storage, because almost all limited floor space is already used for things like door openings and sanitary ware. This problem gets very serious in small bathrooms, where space is especially limited. Remember, that no matter how big is your bathroom, you can always use walls for additional storage.

Wall space is perfect for storage solutions. Things like bathroom cabinet or clever shelvs can be great way to store various items in bathroom. Shelves are a great place for keeping things like towels, since they will be kept tidy and you can easily access them.

Another way to create storage is to use cupboards. If you’re fitting cupboards to a wall, it’s generally recommended to just fit them to one wall. This line of thinking is similar to the dedicated storage wall solution  as this prevents the room from feeling too cluttered and chaotic.

As a alternative to placing various shelves and cupboards in bathroom, you can create some storage space by using a dedicated wall. This will eliminate the chaotic feel of your bathroom design.

If you think that you are good in interior design then you can use a combination of shelves and small drawer units to create a stylish feature. Moreover, you can also use open shelf racks to store folded towels, and hooks to hang for example bath robes.
